Juventus vs Milan: Tips, Odds, and Match Preview

Juventus and Milan will battle in what’s surely the marquee matchup of the Serie A this weekend, and both teams will aim to go into the October international break on a high note.

Juventus have drawn their last four matches and are trending in the wrong direction due to subpar defensive play. In contrast, Milan are unstoppable right now and head into the Allianz Stadium on the heels of a five-game winning run across all competitions.

Juventus Can’t Get Out of Their Funk

Juventus enjoyed an excellent start to the 2025-26 season, but they’ve been slumping of late and suffered a fourth straight draw across all competitions after conceding a late goal against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League. With a four-game winless skid and 11 goals allowed over their last five matches, it’s clear that Juventus aren’t playing at a very high level right now.

Most of the issues lie on the defensive end, and the 11 goals conceded in their last five games aren’t the biggest problem. The Old Lady have been porous at the back and have been suffering more than expected against teams they should be defeating regularly, which isn’t a good sign considering they’ll face a red-hot Milan side this weekend.

Juventus Injury & Suspension News

Juventus will be depleted on the defensive end since Juan Cabal (thigh) and Gleison Bremer (knee) are expected to be sidelined for this contest. Central midfielder Khephren Thuram is also likely to be out due to a calf problem.

Can Anyone Bring AC Milan Down?

AC Milan endured a tough start to the 2025-26 season, losing their home opener to Cremonese, which sparked heavy criticism of the Rossoneri. However, it’s safe to say the side has turned a corner following their recent performances, and it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Max Allegri’s side are the hottest team in Italy at the moment.

Milan have skyrocketed to the top of the Serie A standings on the heels of four straight wins, and although they share that position of privilege with Roma and Napoli, the Rossoneri are the hottest team of the three. Their best result came on the previous weekend, a 2-1 victory over Napoli, and while that snapped a run of three straight clean sheets, it showed that Milan are ready to compete against any team in Europe at the moment.

AC Milan Injury & Suspension News

Milan will be close to full strength in this match, but they’ll be missing Pervis Estupiñan, who has established himself as the regular left wing-back, due to a suspension. Fikayo Tomori, who has turned heads with his play at center-back, will be a game-time call due to an adductor injury.

Juventus vs Milan Prediction

These two sides are evenly matched, and even though Juventus are on a run of four straight draws, they’re certainly good enough to compete with AC Milan – or any team in the Serie A, for that matter. However, it’s hard to see them getting past Milan right now, especially given how good the Rossoneri have been of late.

With Milan playing at a high level on offense and Juventus slumping at the back, this could end up being a high-scoring game. Expect this one to end with over 2.5 total goals.
