Atalanta vs Inter: Tips, Odds, and Match Preview

With 3 teams battling it out for Scudeto, Serie A hasn't been this intriguing since 2022. Inter Milan and Atalanta are separated by mere 3 points and are on a crash course for the Sunday, March 16 match in Bergamo.

Atalanta has to be the more hopeful of the two, given that the game is played at their home ground. Gasperini has made the Gewiss Stadium into a fortress, although their recent away victories have been more spectacular (4:0 away at Juve).

Inter had to grind it out against AC Monza at home (3:2), but the team will feel confident after securing the spot in the UCL quarter-finals. Also, Inter is in familiar territory, having won two of the last four Scudetos.

Bergamo Brilliance

Atalanta is currently in third place, three points behind their Sunday rivals. Nobody gave them a real shot at the start of the season, and their poor run of form in January was the proof in the pudding for many.

But The Nerazzurri rarely lose games. They booked only 3 Serie A defeats this campaign, which is why I'm inclined to go for a draw at Bergamo.

Inter is plagued by defensive injuries, with Stefan de Vrij, Matteo Darmian, and Federico Dimarco all out. Bissek will probably slot into the central defensive role, supported by Bastoni and Pavard. Zielinski and Carboni are also sidelined.

To my mind, the Atalanta vs Inter Milan clash has a draw written all over it. The home team's inconsistent form, coupled with Inter's defensive woes, means that neither side really has to risk it.
